BONE HEALTH
Until age 17, your body is building bone mass, so you need lots of calcium
and phosphorus. That stops by age 25, but you still need to a daily
source of calcium to maintain that bone mass. (The body uses bones
as a calcium “bank,” withdrawing whatever it needs for uses
throughout the body).
Phosphorus is a key mineral needed for collagen production (bone is 75%
collagen).
